![]() ![]() Outside of the motion controls, Skyward Sword's main gimmick is that Link flies around the sky on his giant bird and visits many floating islands dotting the horizon. However, one of the complaints lots of players had with Skyward Sword was the sky's lack of content - and the new Switch version sadly did nothing to amend this. Players now have full camera controls, which weren't present in the original game, and many of Fi's hints are now optional and help with pacing. Its motion controls were unique and stood out from other Zelda games but Nintendo added optional button controls to avoid alienating those who dislike motion. Luckily, Nintendo was well aware of what worked in Skyward Sword and what needed tweaking.
